Ketchup

Okay. Playing catch-up with just about everything in life right now so brief and to the point it will be. Here's a work outfit I wore and some cupcake goodness I made from the other day. Enjoy! Have a happy weekend all! :)

Denim, Lace and Maxi Dresses

I know I'm a little late to this trend but I only recently rediscovered a jean jacket from my high school days. Very cool for shizzle! It was the perfect addition to my outfit for some overtime at the office. (I know... ICK.) BUT, I was beyond comfy in my maxi dress and still a little more put together with the structure of the jean jacket. Since there already was such a busy print and fancy lace I kept the accessories to a minimum. It was an impulse I actually had to keep in check since I naturally reach for necklaces. I satisfied my accessory addiction by donning a set of earrings and bracelet that was a gift from my aunt. (I forgot that I had the name necklace on from the night before...) Turquoise accents and denim always seem to go hand in hand.
On a totally unrelated note: I discovered that my fuzz-ball resembles the cauliflower toy he has. Need proof? Scroll down and see for yourself :)

Turquoise, Denim and feathers. A wonderful combination that will definitely be seen on this blog again.

The lace of these shoes definitely needed one coat of a scotch guard for white shoes.
You can get the scotch guard spray at a Payless Shoes Store.

 I brings you cauliflower...

 Cauliflower head! :)

Lace, Flowers and a Cartoon Bunny?

This ring is so cute, I wish I had a pair of scissors that actually LOOKED like this. Fancy.

I love the details of this outfit. The accessories are what makes this outfit work for me. It has been accessorized within an inch of its life. One more bead/rhinestone and this outfit would have been ridiculously over-the-top. No?

This dress has an amazing back detail that I forgot to photograph. Oopsies. It's a cut-out dress WITH pockets. The pockets on this dress are also really convenient for stashing a teeny tiny baggy of gummy bears. You mean you don't pack snacks for outfit photos? How else are you supposed to get the nerve to stand around posing by a building full of people who might be peeping out the window? Pure guts you say? Rock on gutsy one!

Psssstt... New In!

Here is a sneak peak at the AMAZING new finds from the Anthropologie 50% of SALE PRICE Sale! My mind is spinning from all the outfit ideas but I still haven't even tried one out yet. I need to take one of these outfits out into the sunshine since leaving them tucked into my closet isn't very nice of me. Clothes require a healthy doses of vitamin D too.
